Zoom Class on Wednesday, and Workshops this Weekend!

 Hey Taborgrassers!

Good news! In addition to this week's Zoom Class on Wednesday, we'll be offering some Zoom workshops this weekend! Hometown heroes Annie Staninec and Brian Alley will teach fiddle and banjo workshops respectively, and Patrick and Kaden (that's us!) will offer up some guitar and mandolin. Schedule below! We're looking into doing dobro and bass workshops in the future, so if you're interested, please let us know at taborgrass@gmail.com!

Workshops:
Saturday 1/23
10:30am Fiddle Workshop with Annie Staninec

Sunday 1/24

We'll leave you this week with one of our favorite videos on the internet, some backstage footage of Noam Pikelny, Bryan Sutton, Luke Bulla, Barry Bales, and Jesse Cobb playing "Born to Be With You".

See you soon!

We're Back!

 Hey Taborgrassers!

We're back! We hope you've all had a good holiday break, and are excited to start picking again in 2021! Zoom Class is back on January 13, where we'll be working on Footprints in the Snow, Clinch Mountain Backstep, and the gospel duet Where the Soul of Man Never Dies. Hope to see you there!

The bluegrass world lost a legend over the holidays with the passing of Tony Rice. If you'd like to learn more about Tony's music and contributions to bluegrass, you can read this article by Chris Eldridge, a former student of Tony's and one of the finest guitar pickers around.

Take care out there Taborgrassers!
